Akhilesh Vadari
Akhilesh (Akhi) Vadari is an actor, dancer, and choreographer. He initially trained in Bharatanatyam with Smt Vidyalakshmi Vinod in Seattle. He's currently honing his skills in Bharatanatyam under the esteemed guidance of Natya Acharyas Renjith Babu and Vijna Vasudevan.
Akhi has directed, choreographed, and/or performed in numerous solo and group performances, not only in the Greater Seattle area but also across various US cities and India. His talent has been recognized with prestigious awards like the Cleveland Thyagaraja Aradhana, National Young Arts(2018 Winner with Silver Medal), and the Aikiyam Festival in Chennai. He has also been the recipient of WA State Arts Apprenticeship award with Smt Anwesha Das as the master teacher.
But Akhi's passion extends beyond his own performances. As a young teenager in 2016, he founded House of Kala, a non-profit organization dedicated to fostering opportunities for both aspiring and established artists, both locally and internationally. With a group of middle and high school students he has raised about $100K for special needs children.
Akhil's dedication to his craft and his commitment to nurturing the next generation of artists make him a truly remarkable talent to watch.
